S CHÄCHTER SPORTS AND GO,D WORK TOGETHER TO INTENSIFY THE RELATIONS BETWEEN GERMAN AND SOUTH KOREAN FOOTBALL

In the last 30 years there have always been excellent South Korean football players playing in the German professional leagues. There are several reasons for this but it proves a cultural fit between both countries.

Schächter Sports, one of the leading European international football coaching, youth development, football travel and consulting specialist joins forces with GO,D to support the existing bridge and even intensify it in the upcoming years.

GO,D is a company focused on building a sustainable relationship between the South Korean and German football systems to create pathways and support the development of South Korean football. Its focus lies on the holistic development of a long-term system between both countries to create pathways for players and long-term cooperations between clubs and organisations.

Honggyu Lee, Managing Director at GO,D states: "We are happy to work with Schächter Sports. GO,D has a great network in South Korea and we are looking into several aspects to grow the game in the country. Our main focus is growing the quality of coaches and players in South Korea by learning from traditional football countries like Germany as well as supporting Korean football players in Germany. Schächter Sports as an independent but well-connected partner will help us executing international tournaments and training camps in Germany and at the same time bring coaches and experts to South Korea. These training camps and coaching education for local coaches will sustainably grow the quality and create pathways for our most talented players."

The cooperation between both companies means even more to Schächter Sports, as Kai Sackmann, Director Business Development and Global Strategy, describes:

"With GO,D we found a partner that shares our values. Together with them, we want to support the development and chances of South Korean football and players in a sustainable way. But it is more than this - we want to support the international and intercultural exchance to create pathways in our globalized world - no matter if this pathway leads to professional football or just means a door-opener into a new culture. With GO,Ds network into the K-League and scientific background we will have the chance to support South Koreas development in football sustainably"

Both companies are looking forward to start activating their ideas in 2020 and build a long-term football impact in South Korea.
